Thank you for verifying that, BTT. Was there a technical reason for removing that option? When I was using last year's version I found it very useful

Thank you Jerohm. I have found the category files and I'll just manipulate them directly. You were very helpful. Thanks!

Thanks BTT. I remember using an older version of G-Force which had the save button on the Toolbar (as shown in the link you gave me). That worked perfectly for me.

Was there a reason why it was removed in the current release?

@jarohm, I tried setting it up through the GUI just as you said. However for each category there is only one "custom" category. It seems this limits me to only being able to define one set of waveshapes, etc. I can edit by hand if needed. Can you point me to the location of where the the lists are a...

Huh, my toolbar doesn't have the "themes" window. It stops at "Toolbar Preferences".

There are a few other differences as well, such as my toolbar doesn't have the sliders for shuffle speed or duration.

I am running platinum 5.1.1.

How to save set up with toolbar?

I like using the toolbar to select the list of waveshapes, colormaps, etc. I remember in an old version you could save the current set up to file. In the latest version, I can't figure out how to save it. I tried using "set" on the standalone, but it only saves the current combination, and doesn't s...

The problem with 32-bit standalone not playing videos seems to be resolved. Quicktime must be loaded in order for the videos to play. The beta release 5.1b3 now automatically scans for video sprites and loads quicktime if they are found. I upgraded to 5.1b3 and confirmed that .mpg and .avi both corr...

I have confirmed that videos correctly play (mpg and avi) in the 32-bit standalone.

Thanks for getting this fix in so quickly!

No video for 64-bit?

I amd runnign standalone on windows 8. I tried to drop a video file into the sprites folder, and I get: "video files are not playable in 64-bit mode until soundspectrum transitions to using AVfoundation" I can't find any mention of this on the forum. My first test was to launch the 32-bit version lo...
