G Force in Full Screen at StartUp?

Post by artosca »

Just bought the Platinum version of G-Force and it is great.

But what is missing to me is an option to launch the program and have it in full screen mode without having to go thru the right click, context menu thing.

Anyone knows if is it possible to start the standalone version in Full Screen mode? I tried to set it in the boot.txt file but could not make it work.

Any help really appreciated!

edit: \Program Files\SoundSpectrum\G-Force\Scripts\Startup.txt and insert the line:
SetFullscreen(1);

near the end of the file ... I TRIED it before the:
Run( "logo.txt" );

line and that works. You have to left click select the screen BEFORE it accepts 'esc' or any other command ('h' for list of commands).
AND CASE MATTERS ... don't edit boot.txt

Hi, Just tried to do this edit in the new 5.9 version and in SS/Gf/Scripts there is a different set of files- no startup.txt

I searched and found a startup.py file in GF/Resources/Common, but the program will not let me add the FullScreen line to it. (Was that the correct new place?)

Suggestions?
