I understand it's supposed to support Windows 7 and 64bit. I'm waiting for this so I can renew my subscription

3.9.4 supports windows 7 but not 64 bit media center or WMPmarkcu wrote:Andys post impleid that .4 or v4 would work with W7 64 bit and WMC? yet in the posts above it seems that is not the case? can anyone confirm if I can now use G-force from W7 64 bit media centre?
Well, the new version RUNS on 64-bit Windows 7 but for some reason, the audio source won't allow the selection of my Creative Xi-Fi as an input. So I'm stuck with the random generator.juxtiphi wrote:3.9.4 supports windows 7 but not 64 bit media center or WMPmarkcu wrote:Andys post impleid that .4 or v4 would work with W7 64 bit and WMC? yet in the posts above it seems that is not the case? can anyone confirm if I can now use G-force from W7 64 bit media centre?

G-Force requires Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 or Mac OS X 10.4 (or later) and requires a G5 or P4 processor (or later). G-Force requires hardware graphics acceleration, so you should install and try the free trial version of G-Force in order to ensure that it runs satisfactorily on your system. Please note that G-Force does not currently support the 64 bit versions of Windows Media Player or Windows Media Center. Also note that the G-Force screen saver is not currently compatible with the 64-bit version of Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard). (See below for more information.)
I know NOTHING about Win7, but under XPro/32, ON MY MACHINE, the only way to get the Stand alone version to accept input from my soundcard is to set it as the default recording source via control panel. If Win7 has some similar concept, I would give it a try. I've even tried switching the default sound between my X-Fi Sound Blaster card and also my SRS sound enhancer. For some reason, the only audio inputs for either device are simply "Line In/Mic 2" and I have the latest drivers from Creative Labs for Win 64.jerohm wrote:I know NOTHING about Win7, but under XPro/32, ON MY MACHINE, the only way to get the Stand alone version to accept input from my soundcard is to set it as the default recording source via control panel. depending on exactly what you are trying to do: http://en.community.dell.com/forums/t/18793122.aspx
I currently have the X-Fi Platinum (the one with the additional bay panel).juxtiphi wrote:which X-Fi card do you have?
your X-Fi should have the what you hear option, I have owned 3 creative sound cards and all three have the what you hear option.
I had the X-Fi platinum, X-Fi Extreme Fidelity and the X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Champion .
the software for my Fatality has an option to add and remove certain inputs and outputs from the console mixer.
but first go into the windows volume panel and hit properties
then look under playback and see if the what you hear option is available and if its unchecked check it., also check under recording and check it if its there and select it when it shows in the windows volume.
then go into the X-Fi options in the console launcher and look in the mixer and see whats showing.
in my mixer I can assign inputs and outputs to the available channels, there is an arrow next to each volume slider, click it and the other options are listed there choose the what you hear option and you should be good to go.
