Anyway to capture in sound source and whitecap to avi file?

Post by GizmoGTI »

As per the subject title, like to know if there is any way to capture input sound source and whitecap to some standard vid file format, for example avi/mpg, etc,..

I recently purchased a copy of WhiteCap Platinum and since have been tinkering about with it,...

At the moment, its great being able to plug my guitar into input sound source, (I have M-Audio Firewaire 410 and some sound processing equipment) and be able to use WhiteCap Standalone or even WhiteCap Screensaver to produce some visual magic while I shred on my guitar...

So as you can figure the next step in this journey would be a great idea to capture some of this magic to a video file... I don't wont to use any third party products such as ZeallSoft's Super Screen Recorder, etc,... just gets too messy and complicated...

Thanks In Advance...

PS: If there are no options available to video capture, can the developers at least consider this as an optional plug-in for maybe their next generation of whitecap or g-force - i for one would purchase a copy of the plug-in in a flash!!!

This used to be possible using a utility called Darkroom (Macintosh only), which the folks at Soundspectrum provided free. After updates to both Quicktime, G-Force and iTunes, it stopped working. We were promised Darkroom would be updated, but it never happened. Two years have passed.
