I DO admit that when people install programs (and don't know what the hell they are doing) use the CUSTOM/ADVANCED settings without truly KNOWING and LEARNING about what the advanced features are before they utilize them. Furthermore, MOST of the time it requires firmware, software or patches or additional add-ons that are required by the operating system which, I'll bet about 55~60% of the population doesn't do to get the best out of there system! As most of us know MOST or ALL of the Builds, Updates and Fixes are based on the current OS, such as when SP3 came out for Windows XP. I had a hell of a time trying to install the latest SP3 via the Automatic Updates Feature and trying to install the latest fixes afterward was a nightmare. So I ended up doing a clean install of Windows XP SP2 and then installing SP3 on a clean install of SP2 from a CD I burned with it on it.
Point is, I found a way to make my computer safer, not to mention keeping up with the latest version of Windows XP so as I KNOW that my computer will have no problems working with any software that says it compatible with a Windows OS system; like G-Force!
