g-force won´t exit fullscreen

Post by rapanuy »

Hi.

Just installed Win 7 32bit, and it´s not possible to end g-force standalone from fullscreen. No esape works, no double-click - nothing.

At the end there is always a crash and a report attempt.

I had the same problem. I have G-Force Platinum and upgrading to the latest 3.9.4 beta version fixed it for me.

Related, perhaps? Or should I write this up as a separate issue? I just upgraded to 4.0 from 3.9.4.

Sometimes--but not always--when I exit G-Force Platinum in Full Screen mode, the G-Force Standalone app is still running. That is, when I open Windows Task Manager, G-Force Standalone.exe is still running as a process. This generally happens after about 30 minutes of running in Full Screen mode.

G-Force Toolbar is configured to (1) NOT check for updates, (2) start toolbar when G-Force starts, and (3) close toolbar when G-Force exits.

(I noticed this because I have Norton Internet Security configured to run in "Quiet Mode" when it detects G-Force Standalone.exe running. I configured NIS that way to help save system resources. This issue also occurred sporadically when running 3.9.4.)

G-Force Version: 4.0

Update on "G-Force Standalone app still running" when I exited Full Screen mode. The issue isn't cropping up anymore, so maybe I simply didn't give the G-Force Toolbar sufficient time to unload when I closed it! But, if it happens again, will advise.
