Great... count me in for the beta of Tunr. ;)

Just wondering (now since it's late in January), when would be the most likely month that Tunr beta will be available?

Additionally, what month can we likely expect updates for Aeon, Whitecap and of course G-Force?

Thanks Andy and Frank

Alf :)

I agree with jerohm, Content releases would have sufficed. I own AEON, GR and Whitecap, which I kept updated until last April, Since there were no more updates at all there was no point to renew.

And to the point when I first got them what I really wanted was content, I know you can make your own but very few are going to do that, It's what we pay SS for.

If they come out with big content updates for all 3 I will happily renew them.

Hello everybody!
I think slowly, you want the customer only hold out to generate Money and
the Project “soundspectrumâ€￾ is dead.
How long is whitecap now in beta? Think about it!!
If you were the boss, would you act like it happens in soundspectrum for months?
No, you would not act like they do. We'll see if I am right in my conjecture.
I hope not !!

Sorry for my bad english - i'm from Germany :)

Hello Talla38

In my opinion SoundSpectrum has lost the plot completely. When they do reply to a 'What's happening' question they respond with a typical politicians reply, lots of words with no information. You may have noted I am the Administrator of this forum, I do this on a voluntary basis, and receive no payment from the company so I give honest answers when asked. I can tell you that along with my fellow moderator 'juxtiphi' we do not get any advanced or additional information than the company post on this forum. With no updates since December 2014 SoundSpectrum are in my opinion extracting the urine.
.

So it's going to be an IOS app, Kind of a bummer for me since I am not part of Apple's walled garden :(

I am not on Facebook nor do I have an IOS app and would not have any Apple related stuff.

So, come on tell us on the SoundSpectrum forum whatever it is on your Facebook page that's interesting. At the very least SS are treating forum members with contempt not to post whatever info there is HERE.

Hey BTT, 7 hours ago this was posted on SS's Facebook page....

(please remove this comment if you're advised it isn't suitable for the forum)

Thanks, from Alf :)
Hi everyone!

SoundSpectrum's forthcoming iOS app, Tunr, is closer than ever! We're 3-4 weeks away from private beta where a carefully selected group of testers will get access to Tunr. Tunr is the culmination of SoundSpectrum's 12 year story, and we've never worked harder here!

That's it for now, but as always if you're a user, THANK YOU for supporting our work.

I wonder why they didn't post that here?

I wonder too? In my response to the post on Facebook I wrote:
Great news! But.. will this 'private beta' also include Windows desktop users... or even Android smart-phone users?

I hope so... considering some Apple lines are niche with only a 15% overall market share on the desktop, unsure about Mobile device stats though ..?

Please SS, don't let our other Visualizers lay dormant much longer.... updates to G-Force, Aeon and Whitecap are essential for us SoundSpectrum license holders and enthusiasts....

Agree with you guys. Tho, about "contempt," I think it's just disregard for the forum and where we're coming from... "From": as in, SS has moved on from desktop legacy, emotionally, spiritually, whatever, in addition to technologically. A passé moment. SS is perhaps better politically than it is at marketing, but so what? Fb and Apple are who it wants to align with, in its sites. We get the message.

And for any of us who value music, let alone superior graphics, who would pay attention to cellphone platforms? Toys. Good grief, goodbye to that.

Hello All
andy55 wrote:When Tunr ships, you'll start to see SoundSpectrum shift from selling visuals as isolated products to a single vis that contains each of our visuals (and new visuals). Of course, those that own licenses in the update window will receive complimentary licenses. This will also be pretty cool since our visuals will intermingled with each other so that maybe one song shows G-Force and another shows a set of Aeon configs.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It sucks that there won't be an Android version at first, but this is something that will quickly change when we're finally able to release Tunr!

Best,
Drew O'Meara
SoundSpectrum CTO

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That indicates there will not be a Windows version, surely not, and if there is I would not want all SS programs mixed into one.

Whitecap version 6.5 has been released..... I will leave it to a Forum moderator to make an official post under the Whitecap forum...

It truly flies, I can get up to 90 frames per second in most scenarios...

Frank, one thing I noticed though, visualizations are still appearing on top of track text animations and cover art in Windows Media Player x64 (32 bit would be identical) on Windows 10 Pro..

Cheers and Thankyou to the SS staff, Frank and definitely Andy :)
