Turn off all visulations

I am trying to turn off all visual effects, other than the background image one. I just want a nice slideshow of pictures....it seems to work, but after a while the waves keep coming back, even after I have deselected every one of them.

Also, can somebody point me to the document that describes how to set the presets? I seem to be doing something wrong....I can't get my settings to stick.

I think there is one basic wave form that triggers all others ( I'm guessing here) But I too have noticed that there is still one wave in play even when stopping all.

for the settings set it the way you want and then click one of the numbered buttons up top and it should save your prefs.

Its possible however that there may still be bugs causing WC to not save any configs but since GF and WC are both works in progress I would wait and see what future updates add or fix.
