Hello,
yesterday I installed J River Mediacenter 23 64 bit.
Nearly everthing was fine, but when I installed my SoundSpectrum visualizers I realized, they don't support the 64 bit Version of JRMC
What can I do? When will it be supported?
Regards,
Helibaby

Hello Helibaby
J River Media Center is listed on the site as being supported.
If your version of SS vis are up to date you should have no problem installing for 64 bit support.
How old is your version?
If current
Try uninstalling J River and G-force. Delete all SS folders pertaining to G-force, Restart your comp then reinstall JRiver and then G-force.
As far as I know, it's still supported so it should work.

Hmmm J River has a 64 bit version. I wonder why it's not included?

It is a new variant of JRiver Media Center that has just been released recently....
It hasn't been included / was not available when the June updates were released because it didn't exist back then.
My guess is that once aware, SS will be able to integrate it, just like it's had to do for WMC/WMP 64 bit, iTunes 64-bit, etc.
Hope this helps....

Hello All
This information is from the makers web site:-
This is a new build of JRiver Media Center 23.
Download standard build 32-bit: (works on all systems)
Download 64 bit build This is an early build of JRiver Media Center 23 for Windows 64-bit, recommended for advanced users only. You may experience new problems, (works on 64 bit systems only)
So your best bet is to uninstall the 64-bit version then download and install the 32-bit version.
Which version of Windows are you using?
.

We are coordinating with the folks at jRiver on this, and hopefully we will be compatible with the new 64bit version of jRiver with our next release.
Thanks for reaching out to us!

Any luck getting 64bit Gforce to play well with 64bit JRMC?

Hi Folks,
since the last update of Aeon (4.00), G-Force (5.81) and WhiteCap (6.80) JRMC 23 64-bit is supported!
Thanks a lot!

This is still not working with the latest versions of GForce and JRMC in 64bit... a drag.
Watching the thread and testing whenever there are new versions on either side... keeping the fingers crossed for an eventual fix.

Hello Helibaby
I see the JRMC is now listed in the installer but does it work for you?
Please let us know so we can help others get it going on their machines.

This still doesn't work. I tried Aeon 4.01 trial and G-Force 5.81 trial. I'm registered with an older version, but not willing to upgrade until 64-bit JRMC works. I can help test/debug.

Hello,
I'm awfully sorry!
As the above mentioned visualizers can be installed with the 64-bit version of MC, I thought they were compatible. Obviously they aren't!
