In that upcoming release are their any updates on the toolbar, specifically in the external directories not picking up subdirectories and secondly in the 64-bit version not reading/communicating correctly.

I use the WMP version: the overall menu works great for minor changes, but lacks the instinctive granularity that the toolbar allowed, it also has issues when you want to use lots of external sprites. on the first version I used way back, adding my own folders and then checking and unchecking things...
