Request for new Flowfield/Waveshape

Post by Saganized »

After watching The Chronicles of Riddick, I wondered if you G-Force programmer dudes/dudettes could come up with a new Flowfield/Waveshape in the next version. The effect I'd like to see would be similar to sunrise on planet Crematoria--golden, circular waves rising and expanding from the distant centerpoint of the horizon. (If that makes any sense. :P)

And rather than the circular waves being of a single gold color, you might have them cycle through the complete color spectrum, beginning with black and eventually fading back to black...

Just a thought. lol~ :( Happy Thanksgiving!

Hm, I like this idea as an Aeon scene. I'll chit chat with Mike on this.

Oops disregard please! I forgot I could manipulate the various Waveshapes, Colormaps, and Flowfields... Perhaps I can re-create the effect after some lengthy trial and error. Thank you! :)

Concerning the colorization aspect of your idea, please be aware that Aeon can use G-Force Colormap files/swatches. So if you already have GF in your machine, look for the maps that have the effect you're looking for.

some sacred geometry would be cool, although sometimes it seems like some of the scenes implement it a little, and it in itself is pretty open to being displayed in interesting ways, also possibly some four dimensional objects, second suggestion probably less possible but some tesseract animations I've seen have looked like they could possibly be translated to aeon relatively successfully, of course with no real knowledge on creating or implementing these ideas or the difficulty it entails i cant be sure how feasible or worthwhile either idea would truly be, but i do hope the ideas might be useful in some way.
