here is a little puzzle:
My new MacBook (black) is running BootCamp and Windows XP Pro SP2 beautifully. Macintosh drivers for Windows enabled Sigma Tel High Definition Audio CODEC.
But G-force Standalone does not react to the music played on the system. Understanding that you might not have drivers for Sigma Tel (new MacBooks are on the market only a few days), I installed external Sound Blaster USB card to have audio go through it, but didn't seems to make any difference.
I have been toggling (Shift - A) through all available audio devices in G-force increasing respose rate (+ and -) and preamp ([ and ]), but still no response.
Any suggestions?
Are all MacBooks in the same situation or do higher models have more compatible with G-force audio devices?
Thanks.

Re: G-Force Platinum Standalone on MacBook running Windows X
It's all about the drivers on the Windows machine (a piece of software such as G-Force relies on already-present sound drivers for audio. Also realize that Windows drivers aren't required to allow audio looping/input from the audio output channel (it's just that many driver authors support this). In Mac OS X, CoreAudio specially does not have this API feature (which is why the Standalone and V-Bar aren't able to access output audio from something like iTunes).Mac toy wrote:here is a little puzzle:

So, as for your problem, you best bet is to file a apple bug report to enhance their Windows drivers to support loopback/input audio from the output channel.
