G-Force Standalone Program Icon Missing (Win XP, Ver 4.4.0)

I don't see it in Start > All Programs > G-Force > G-Force Standalone. Properties > Change Icon says "G-Force Standalone.exe contains no icons." G-Force.dll contains no icons, either. I can't find the Standalone's program icon. Where is it?? Thanks.

the G-force exe is located in C/program files/ soundspectrum/ G-force


when I hit start, all programs, I can see a folder marked G-force.

sounds like you may be having issues with windows as G-force is doing what it should on my machine.

Also, you could have put all these thoughts in the same post.

Hello Saganized

When I click Start / All Programs, and hover the cursor over the G-Force folder another menu opens giving access to Standalone. Just wondering if this is caused by not uninstalling the old version first, worth a try.

Greetings, BTT and juxtiphi. Pardon my poor description of the issue, perhaps. It's not that I'm unable to find the program in my Start menu. It's that the ICON for the program in the Start menu is not correct.

In other words, Start > All Programs > G-Force > G-Force Standalone is there... It's just that the PROGRAM ICON is goofy-looking--it looks like a DOS program icon or something.

Also, my apologies for not grouping all these issues together. It's just that every time I opened 4.4.0, I found another issue! So, I came back to report the new issue! Sorry...

Whilst the icon may not be to every ones liking it is however the icon of SoundSpectrums choice.
