Before the update of iTunes 10, G-Force prevented my iMac from going to sleep and the G-Force animation displayed as long as iTunes was open. After updating to iTunes 10, G-Force does not prevent the computer from going to sleep, and after a few minutes the computer goes into a sleep mode and the G-Force animations no longer are displayed.
Can the old functionality, preventing the computer from going to sleep while G-Force is running, be restored?
Screen Sleeps after iTunes 10 Update
As far as I know, the function to override sleep mode is controlled by the parent application (iTunes) and not the plug-ins it invokes. Plus, I tested this while running the default iTunes visualizer in full-screen mode and the computer went to sleep as well. Looks like an Apple / iTunes 10 problem.
