softskies fullscreen refresh rate

i'm using the softskies trial in winamp. my monitor's refresh rate is set to 85hz, yet every time i go fullscreen, it drops to what appears to be 60hz, producing that atrocious screen flicker! i suppose this wouldn't be a problem on an lcd, but unfortunately, the pc hooked up to the lcd is out of commission for the time being

. anyway, dxdiag overriding @ 85hz isn't helping (if it could even help to begin with)...

is there a way to adjust softskies' fullscreen refresh rate

so... does any1 know if it's possible to adjust the fullscreen refresh rate of softskies?
