I can see it listed in both the last beta and the most recent version and I dont even have xmplay installed on my computer so I would say the answer is yes it can still be installed.

i'm running xp so I dont know much about vista except there seem to be a lot of people who are not happy with vista due to (and I am guessing here) compatability issues.

try the old uninstall/reinstall with xmplay and see if it helps

Well i am sorry to say m8 but XMplay doesnt install. you just uncompress it and put it were you want it.

I place it in Program Files/xmplay to name but a few places i have tried, but no matter were it goes The G-force installer does not let me tick the box to install it.

HHHmmm I just set up xmplay and even though xm is listed in the GF installer it cannot be checked :? I really dont know whats up with that  maybe GF needs to follow a string that is set up after an installer has placed a prog somewhere so that it knows where to go.

EDIT

the new White cap beta says that xmplay support has been removed so maybe its the same for GF

hmmm Maybe but then you'd think they would remove it from the installer list right ?

who knows, its not a big deal but I do like xmplay for my mod support and c64 archive (and yes i do like it better than winamp.)

Still It's no big deal if it doesnt work any more. It wold have been nice though
