I have only just downloaded platinum and my freind love's It, so I thought I may order on Cd but my freind and dose not have or can't afford internet connection, will the software still run !. Dose platinum need internet connection to activate with the cd version.

When I said:-

That was not allowing for the weekend. Should you not hear from them by Thursday post back here and I will contact them for you.

I apologize richy if you wrote to support and did not receive an answer, though I don't see any active tickets with a question like yours in our support queue. Basically, yes, you will need an internet connection to install any of our paid versions, though you don't need an internet connection to run the software once it's been installed. The software installer must verify your license code with our validation server, and there is no workaround to this. Though, if your friend can connect their computer to the internet even for the short amount of time it takes to verify the license code then they should be able to enjoy our software.

Thanks for reply, I Can understand that, RE: cd without intenet conection, I will order a cd and I will have to plug my internet dongal into my freinds computer, Its a suprise ! many thanks Richy.
