I am not seeing this problem, G-force worked just fine 2 minutes ago in media center which I can only guess is media player 12.

No audio input source in standalone available

Post by Tjitijman »

G-force working just fine in wmp but can't get any audio input into the standalone When i want standalone responding to sounds on www.vikingtrance.com ( this site runs on flashplayer )Only audio input source i can choice from are the 3 from g-force ( fluid , high energy and chill ) My inbuild laptop microphone sound-input works also fine when i click it into standard in the sound options of the sounddevice control from windows But no respond activity from g-force standalone to vikingtrance ( or outher) With no good audio input options i get it But why can i get microphone into g-force standalone audio input source options but not the rest ! Already treid al the faq and troubleshooting options. I saw my latest download of g-force 4.3.2 still runs at 32 bit perhaps that's the problem. Anyone help please ...visuals are boring for me if they don't reacte on the sounds ...specially with psytrance !!! Note that when i put my own mp3/wave music on in wmp the responsivenesse to sound is super good and g-force is on it best !!! I have sony vaio VPCF13M1E it runs with win7 64 home premium and GT425M Nvidia graphic-card . Thanks

Hey everybody....for months ( not every day of course) i had a the problem that standalone was not responding to the sound op my favorite webradio. After searching but not finding a solution , i finally asked help from sound spectrum helpdesk. But after doing what they said...and replying week later that it didn't worked...they where out of options to . i still couldn't open the stereo-mix in the windows 7 audio control room . If gave up but weeks laters i was getting angry again ... of listing to good music and seeing good visuals but the 2 not melting together on my big full hd tv. So i gave it another shot...another night lost from searching the net... but finally i saw this reply of 'choung' answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-sound/no-stereo-mix-in-windows-7-please-help/9bf67267-329a-45f5-a6ce-902c6fa6b4bc. So the reason why nothing worked for me... Is that i bought a 1000 euro Sony Vaio laptop hahaha . Thats why no outher solution worked for me....There's simpely no stereo-mix on it ....same for the laptops of Dell and Acer all windows 7. I had already knew of the solution : Virtual Audio Cable but really didn't want to put some unknown stuff on my laptop for a simple thing of opening the stereo-mix source in windows 7 sound config so that it also appears in the Standalone options But now that i knew it is/was the one and only solution . I had to try it and bringing above all my technicall skills ( which i don't have lol) And begun with downloading a torrent vac 4.10. Whitin 20 seconds i had it ...for free...i looked for 2 min a youtube movie how it works for the good settings in the VAC control panel.....and within 3 min i linked the virtual cable ( line1) to my hdmi cable( or your speakers what you want ) mic....and there it was for the first time in months....a audio source option in standalone . I finally had G-force's reaction visuals too my so beloved wwwvikingtrancecom 24/7 radio....JIPAAAAA ...THE END ..for you ...Me... i'm still going strong on G-force and vikingtrance together PS : much thanks to the soundspectrum staff for the quick replies and the big efforts to help me with this crazy problem of laptop brands G-FORCE THE BEST Sorry for english writings ..i'm dutch !!

You now have a serious competitor

Post by Tig3RStyluS »

Im really disappointed guys, this drama has been going on such a long time now and still no x64 support? I havent used a 32bit OS for almost 5 years, many pc manufacturers dont even provide 32bit windows now and games developers are now dropping 32bit windows to ensure they can access 4gb+ ram for their games [e.g. DICE] yet still we have no x64 compatible visualizer? Due to the lack of action and lack of information about it, ive actually looked for alternatives and found Morphyre.. its not x64 compatible yet, but they state they are really working on it. I installed the free version and honestly i really like its use of 3D & Scenery, it looks really fresher and much more advanced than the lines and dots you have in Whitecap and others. I think for the first time, you really have a serious competitor and if they beat you to the x64 which is highly probable, then your inaction may prove to cost you quite a lot of customers. I will still consider buying an x64 whitecap if one ever materialises but i am not holding my breath any longer.
