the old Gforce toolbar

Post by cwoolrich »

Does the new version have the original user friendly GForce toolbar, or does it have the confusing hard to use control panel of Aeon?

sometime soon G-force will be changing over to the same GUI as Aeon, the version up now still has the toolbar.

For what it's worth (probably not much lol), I agree with the other posters on this. If the Toolbar ain't broke--which it ain't--DON'T FIX IT. For that matter, don't REPLACE it, either... Um...please.

I am rediscovering G-Force and all its greatness. Andy thank you. However I will just keep my current version. On the fly I can change waveshapes, colormaps and flowfield, as well as frames and visual response. I have fun playing with G-Force. Once again thank you Andy O'Meara for such a great visualizer.

Hello All

To all those who would prefer SoundSpectrum to retain the Toolbar in the next version of G-Force send an email to:- andy@soundspectrum.com - the more people that contact Andy (the boss) the better the chances are of keeping the Toolbar.

Well, I accidentally let my subscription for G-Force lapse back in February after getting 4.3.2, but if version 4.x will be the last of the toolbar and its going away with Version 5, I may re-up just to get the latest/last versions before the toolbar goes away. Then I'll most likely let my subscription expire for good... the G-Force toolbar is too nice of a feature to get rid of, I'm always using it to tweak the display while it is running.

EDIT: Well, now that I've been reading about all the issues with 4.4, I guess it's not worth it to re-up right now to get it... I'll hold off.

*sigh* I suppose I'll have to download a trial version of Aeon just to see what that control panel screen even looks like, but it doesn't sound too thrilling from what I've been reading... It seems like the lifespan of G-Force may very well soon be coming to an end... :(
FEEL an awesome 3D Blu-ray movie with powerful Buttkickers under the seats, in the FREYMAX "4D" Theater!
