Thanks for your kind comments. ColorMaps are just a fraction of the work that goes into making G-Force what it is, so a HUGE thanks must go to Andy and his team for making G-Force as we know it.

I have created 305 ColorMaps for G-Force, 27 were included in version 4.2 and Andy has included another 30 in version 4.3. This means that the remaining 248 ColorMaps will never see the light of day. I would be more than happy to send these to you by email if you wanted, as an Administrator of the Forum I have access to your email address so you have no need to make that public.

Anyone else that would like to have the other 248 ColorMaps I have created just post here and ask.

Regards BTT
Hi BTT,
Many thanks for the Colour maps already included in G-Force, but as I love to experiment with Soundspectrum products could you send me a copy of the ones Andy did not include with the latest version.

Regards

SteveH

Thanks BTT,
All colour maps installed and working. They look great and I can confirm that they also work in Aeon.
After installing them I think I now understand how Colour Maps work. I see they are png files, do you know if it is possible to create them in Adobe Photoshop? Photoshop will work with and save png type files.

Regards
SteveH

Hello SteveH

Very pleased you like the ColorMaps. Creating the ColorMaps is not as straightforward as you may think. PhotoShop, and other similar programs will not do the job - If I say anymore I will face the local firing squad.

OK wouldn't want to get you into any trouble. Thanks again for the colour maps the new additions will be enough to play around with for a while.
On another note I had a few problems switching between full screen and normal screen in the standalone versions of G-Force 5 and Aeon 3.4. Solved the problem with a simple one line script that others on the forum might find useful.
I named the Script CTRL T as it toggles between full and normal screen, but it can be named CTRL + any letter you like.

The contents of CTRL T.txt is only one line:

SetFullscreen( ! IsFullscreen() );

To make the file open Notepad, copy and paste the above line into notepad and save as CTRL T.txt into the folder:

C:\Users"Your Name"\AppData\Roaming\SoundSpectrum\G-Force\Scripts

If windows complains just save the file elsewhere and copy it to the scripts folder using the same path as above.

You must copy the SetFullscreen line exactly as it is above, including the semicolon at the end of the line.

The path for AppData\Roaming\SoundSpectrum\G-Force\Scripts will vary between different computers and users but it should always be under C:\Users\.
The part "Your Name" will vary depending upon the name used when Windows was installed.
To use the script make sure that the application window is active (click on any part of the window) hold down the CTRL key and type T. The window should re-size.

Hello SteveH

This is the kind of community spirit I like. Thanks many times over for sharing your script CTRL T.

Here's a challenge for you. Consider creating a WaveShape or FlowField for G-Force. Reckon that would keep you busy for a few hours.

Yes I think that is a challenge worth looking at and now that the kill scripts problem is to be resolved it should be my next step in learning G-Force.
Unfortunately not today though. We are experiencing a heat wave at the moment and some of my musician friends and myself have been invited to a barbeque later. Music, drinks and some nice food today, will risk the possibility of salmonella tomorrow.

I'd love to get the color pack.

The support in these forums is exceptional. I've had many questions answered by searching through them.
