Softskies as a desktop background

As we move into the next age of computing with ever faster graphiccs capabilities and the now 'get used to it' attitude of pointless bloatware, I have often wondered, 'what about the animated desktop background?'

You and I both know that softskies would make an excellent one. If we had enough juice.

What I'm saying is: Do it. I'd definately use it.

If you're using a Mac, there's a lot of software which will let you run the screensaver version of SoftSkies on the desktop. For example:

I'm not aware of similar software for Windows, but it could be worth looking around for it!
